Mitsubishi has announced prices and specifications for the all-new L200 pick-up. The new model is extremely important for Mitsubishi as the pick-up market has grown from 2,000 a year five years ago to 12,000 a year today - and Mitsubishi takes over 30% of the class. The new L200 goes on sale in March 2006, with prices running from £12,249 for the 4work single cab to £19,999 for the double cab Elegance. All models get 4wd, a new 134 bhp 2.5 litre diesel engine, CD player with MP3 and driver/passenger airbags. Showing how car-like pick-ups are now getting, top-end models get air conditioning, heated leather seats, satellite navigation, CD autochanger and an upgraded 160 bhp version of the engine.
